The final report and results of the project “Housing Affordability in Cities in the Czech Republic”.

The project was implemented by the Ministry of Regional Development in cooperation with the Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development and the Directorate-General for Structural Reform Support of the European Commission within the framework of the Structural Reform Support Programme. Cooperating pilot cities on the project were Olomouc and Pilsen.

The final report based on a unique OECD survey identifies key issues of housing affordability in the Czech Republic and suggests six key recommendations for improvement on a national level, but also for pilot cities Pilsen and Olomouc.

Interim results and information obtained by this OECD study also contributed significantly to the Czech Housing Strategy 2021+.
